Use these tools only with permission

Only use these products on locks you own, locks you have explicit permission to work on, or locks you are legally authorized to service as part of professional locksmith work. Do not use these tools to access property, vehicles, buildings, containers, or devices without permission.

Know your local laws

Lockpicking tools may be regulated differently depending on where you live. Before buying, carrying, or using any tool, review the laws that apply in your city, state, or country. You are responsible for using every product safely, legally, and ethically.

Training and locksport

For practice, use dedicated training locks, clear practice locks, cutaway locks, repinnable locks, or other locks that are not in active service. Avoid practicing on locks that protect property, even if you own them, because practice can damage or wear the lock.

Professional and repair use

Broken key extractors, key duplication accessories, decoder-style tools, and specialist picks should be used only for authorized repair, maintenance, education, or locksmith training. Duplicate keys only when you have explicit permission from the key owner or property owner.
