HYTAIS TS-10B battery powered type socket tester is different from the socket testers on market. We specially designed model TS-10B that is powered by extra 2*1.5V AAA battery (NOT INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE) which can distinguish the live wire , even if the socket burns out, it will not affect the normal use of the tester. When the socket is burned out, if the live wire was broken, the detector can detect the live wire was broken; if it is the zero wire was broken, the detector can detect it is the zero wire problem; if both live wire and zero wire were broken, then nothing can be distinguished. Most of the sockets on the market are not powered by the battery but the socket, if the live wire is broken, then the detector cannot work at all.
