Instructions for Use of YTH Multi-Functional Wire Stripper

I. Tool Introduction

This product is a multi-functional wire stripper made of high-quality carbon steel. It is suitable for electrical installation, line maintenance and other scenarios. It can strip and cut common copper-core and aluminum-core wires. The blade has undergone professional heat treatment, featuring both hardness and wear resistance. Please use it with correct operating methods to ensure safety and tool service life.

II. Scope of Application

• Wire stripping: Suitable for stripping the insulation layer of single-strand/multi-strand wires with a diameter of 0.5-6mm (the specific range is subject to the actual operable wire diameter).

• Cutting: Can cut copper wires, iron wires and wires of the same specification with a diameter of ≤2mm (exceeding the range may cause damage to the blade).

III. Operating Steps

1. Wire Stripping Operation

• Step 1: According to the thickness of the wire insulation layer and the diameter of the wire core, select the stripping hole of the corresponding specification on the jaw (the hole is usually marked with the wire diameter range, such as 1.0-2.5mm).

• Step 2: Put the wire vertically into the selected stripping hole, ensuring that the insulation layer completely wraps the wire core without exposing the metal part.

• Step 3: Grip the handle moderately to make the blade gently cut into the insulation layer (avoid excessive force to damage the wire core). Slowly rotate the wire stripper 1-2 times or pull it towards the end of the wire to peel off the insulation layer.

• Step 4: After stripping, release the handle, take out the wire, check whether the wire core is intact, and repeat the operation if there is residual insulation layer.

2. Cutting Operation

• Step 1: Place the wire or metal wire to be cut at the cutting blade at the front end of the wire stripper, ensuring that the position is centered and stable.

• Step 2: Firmly grip the handle to close the blade and complete the cutting (do not cut materials exceeding the tool's load-bearing range at one time to avoid blade deformation).

IV. Notes

1. Safety Protection: Please wear protective gloves during operation to avoid hand scratches by the blade; when cutting hard metal wires, prevent debris from splashing into eyes.

2. Proper Use: ◦ It is forbidden to strip or cut materials beyond the tool's specifications (such as hard steel bars, thick cables, etc.), so as not to damage the blade or the tool body. ◦ Do not use the tool as a hammer or lever to avoid deformation or fracture.

3. Maintenance and Storage: ◦ After use, clean the tool surface and blade to remove oil stains and debris; apply a small amount of anti-rust oil to the blade and moving parts regularly to prevent rust. ◦ Store in a dry and ventilated place, away from moisture and high temperature, and avoid prolonged exposure to corrosive environments.

4. Warning: This tool is not suitable for live wire operation. Please ensure that the power is cut off before operation to prevent electric shock accidents.
