Compared with the design of all pawl sharing a metal ring like DS042, our response speed is faster and the strength is more even. (Everyone who has used the shared design knows that due to the different deformation of the metal ring, each pawls has a different strength. ) During your ride, the force is uniformed. Your hub can carry magical reliability and smoothness over the long haul, virtually regardless of riding conditions.

Those pawls are split into two trios with slightly offset timing, though, which yields a quick five-degree engagement speed for more immediate power transfer after coasting. (Compared with D042SB only has 24 clicks, 3 pawls, 15 degree)
